Mr. Kelvin Chan

Mr. Chan currently serves as Head of Japan at Yi Capital. He has over a decade of pan-Asia real estate investment experience that spans across valuation, banking, private equity and REITs. All in all, Mr. Chan has transacted in excess of USD 2b of real estate during his career. Prior to joining Yi Capital, Mr. Chan was Link REIT’s first employee in Singapore and spearheaded the REIT’s entry into Singapore via the Mercatus retail platform transaction. He was involved in the sourcing of the deal and responsible for investment underwriting. In his previous role at Partners Group, Mr. Chan had pan-Asia coverage with specialisations in the Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan markets. Notable transactions include the acquisition of Tama Centre in Western Tokyo and the PropCo plus OpCo deal with Storefriendly for self-storage in Singapore. Kelvin holds a BSc in Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method (First Class) from the LSE as well as an MPhil in Real Estate Finance from Cambridge University. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2017.
