Hidetoshi Ono leads real estate investment activities in Japan at Tsao Family Office (TFO). TFO was established in 2016 to manage assets of the Tsao family, one of Asia’s most enduring family businesses with a history of over a century, and its investment proceeds are used to fund philanthropic initiatives through the Tsao Foundation, etc. Ono has over 30 years of real estate and senior management experiences. He served as Head of Direct Real Estate – Japan at abrdn where he was responsible for managing 15 senior housing value-add portfolio. He also served as Managing Director of Japan Real Estate at Manulife, Head of Japan Core Fund based in Singapore at AXA and Managing Director/Country Manager-Japan at ING Real Estate. He also worked at GE and Mitsui Fudosan. Ono holds an MBA from Stanford University and graduated from Hitotsubashi University with a Bachelor of Social Studies.
