Mon 27 May 3:30 PM — 6:30 PM (GMT+09:00) Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo Tokyo Midtown PLAZA B1F, Ishinki sculpture
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games brought joy to the world. The tour will oversee an 18-hectare redevelopment project in which the Olympic Village, where top athletes from around the world stayed, will be redeveloped by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and 11 private developers into more than 5,600 residential units and commercial facilities.

In the surrounding area, a transportation terminal, a large waterside park, an elementary and junior high school, a hydrogen station, etc. have been developed, and the total development area is approximately 31 hectares, making it a unique town that takes advantage of the Olympic legacy.

This tour will include an on-site inspection of the renovated housing block (exterior and part of the common areas), followed by a presentation on the development overview and concept, and a tour of the housing model room.

Meeting point: Tokyo Midtown

Bus transportation will be provided between Tokyo Midtown and the Olympic Village.

This is an all-weather tour and open to ULI Full Members only. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Tour registration fee: US$50. Spaces on the tour are limited and subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
