Ito Agata is the founder of BeGoodJapan Co., Ltd. and currently serves as its CEO. During his time at Hosei University, he participated in a student exchange program at the University of Nevada, Reno. Upon returning to Japan, he won the Grand Prize at the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Corporation's "Student Entrepreneurship Championship." With the 3 million yen prize, he established BeGoodJapan Co., Ltd. The company now manages over 1,500 shared housing units nation-wide including the greater Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo areas.
Approximately 80% of the tenants are international students from prestigious institutions in Tokyo, including national universities. The company also operates dormitories for international students and visiting researchers at national universities.
