Theresa is the Co-Regional Managing Principal of Gensler’s Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) region. Previously, she spent 28 years in Gensler’s Washington, D.C. office, seven of which she spent as Co-Managing Director of that office, working on some of the firm’s most complex international architecture and interior design projects. A recognised strategic advisor, Theresa guides client and consultant teams in tackling the urgent challenges facing cities today, with a focus on resilience, adaptability, and long-term environmental impact. A passionate advocate for sustainable design, she has led award-winning landmark projects that set new benchmarks in high-performance design, leveraging cutting-edge technology to minimise energy consumption and drive sustainable strategies across diverse practice areas. A fellow of the AIA, Theresa’s portfolio spans notable international projects in the areas of hospitality, education, aviation, and sports & entertainment, among other sectors. She is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects.
