Ms. Rosie Leake

Senior ESG Manager, Asia Pacific Hines

Rosie Leake is a passionate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Manager with a focus on social impact, community consultation, inclusive design, First Nations engagement, wellness, and place-making. Rosie is responsible for overseeing the implementation of ESG policies and practices for Hines in the Asia Pacific region. She assesses environmental and social risks, promotes sustainability, ethical practices, and ensures compliance with ESG regulations and standards. With nearly a decade of general contractor experience, Rosie joined Hines in 2022 as a design manager on 600 Collins Street, Melbourne. She was responsible for managing and coordinating the design team, ensuring that all stakeholders were consulted throughout the process, and that the final design delivered on Hines' commitment to sustainability and social impact. Rosie is an advocate for Women in the Built Environment. She co-edits Gazella, a blog profiling and celebrating women’s achievements, is a mentor for current University of Melbourne students, and is a member of National Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Women of ABP – Melbourne University Alumni groups. She also volunteers at Share the Dignity, an organization targeting period poverty in Australia. Rosie took a volunteering sabbatical year in 2018 where she built playgrounds at government schools across India and managed the construction of a maternity hospital on the banks of Lake Victoria in Kenya. Rosie holds a Bachelor of Environments and a Masters of Construction from the University of Melbourne. She is also currently completing her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) part-time at Melbourne Business School. Outside the office, Rosie loves anything creative, cultural or outdoorsy and feels at home by the seaside in the tiny town she grew up in.
