Mr. Ankit Samdariya

Ankit Samdariya is a seasoned real estate executive with over 15 years of diverse experience across India, the US, and Singapore. He brings a unique perspective that stems from his hands-on involvement in building and scaling real estate platforms across logistics, office spaces, and retail as part of leading institutional investment firms. Ankit currently leads asset management and new initiatives for LOGOS, a leading APAC-focused integrated logistics real estate platform. LOGOS’ major shareholder is the ESR Group, Asia Pacific’s largest real asset manager and the third largest listed real estate investment manager globally. Previously, Ankit played a pivotal role at The Xander Group, where he advised the group on strategic initiatives and investments across real estate asset classes from 2013 to 2020. Notably, he co-founded and served as CEO of The Hive, Xander’s flexible workspace platform with integrated lifestyle amenities. Under his leadership, The Hive grew profitably, boasting a high-quality operational portfolio of over 500k SF across India. Furthermore, as Vice President of Investments & Asset Management at Xander’s retail real estate platform, Virtuous Retail, Ankit played an instrumental role in spearheading the development of a groundbreaking 5.5MM SF retail-led mixed-use portfolio, which morphed into a $800 million JV between APG Asset Management and Xander in 2016. Prior to joining Xander, he worked with Shell for four years across the US, Netherlands, Singapore, and Malaysia as part of its internal strategy consulting team, where he advised various Shell businesses on new investments, mergers & acquisitions, and margin improvements. He also gained valuable experience in infrastructure and renewable energy investing at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in India. Ankit is a founding member of the Built World Technology Alliance, an initiative to accelerate the digital transformation of India’s real estate sector. He also chairs Urban Land Institute (ULI) – NEXT and serves on the national executive committee of ULI in India, leveraging his expertise and leadership to shape the future of the industry. Ankit received his MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Delhi.
