|12:30PM||Lunch and Learn Discussion @ The Arts House: “Creative Placemaking Approaches to Build Better Cities”
Placemaking — combining elements of the built environment in a compelling way that attracts people — is the essence of real estate development. Creative placemaking takes that concept further, with the placemaking effort led by arts and cultural considerations that help shape not only the physical character of a place, but also its social character. As cities grow, adapt, and develop, how can urban leaders embrace the arts and use them to benefit the city as a whole? We will have lunch and a lively conversation with experts in the arts and urban placemaking.
