UrbanPlan, a global educational initiative developed by the Urban Land Institute, is a realistic, engaging classroom-based programme, in which participants learn about the fundamental forces that affect urban regeneration. The programme has been running in the US for more than 15 years – reaching over 43,000 students and enabling 1,500 ULI members to share their experiences in land use.
In 2018, UrbanPlan was piloted in Asia Pacific amongst high school and university students, and public officials. It has been rolled out in Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines and Singapore. To offer a localised programme, ULI Hong Kong and ULI Singapore have customised the programme to reflect their local built environments and related challenges.
At the summit, we will be hosting a workshop that will be based on Hong Kong’s high-density mode. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the UrbanPlan programme, and to learn and share how we can inspire real estate’s future through this global impact initiative.
If you are interested in joining the workshop, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. There are limited places available, and it will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
