Designed to raise interest among young people in creating better communities and improving urban development patterns, the ULI Hines Student Competiton Asia Pacific encourages cooperation and teamwork among future land-use professionals. Teams of university students were invited to devise a comprehensive design and proposal for a real-world urban site in Tokyo reflecting responsible use of land. Mr. Lawler is CEO of Hines' Asia Pacific Region and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In his role, he oversees all development, acquisitions and operations activities across the region.
