The ULI Hines Student Competition, entering its 21st year in the Americas, was launched in Asia Pacific this year. Designed to raise interest amongst young people in creating better communities and improving urban development patterns, the competition encourages cooperation and teamwork amongst future land-use professionals. Teams of graduate students were invited to devise a comprehensive design and development proposal for a real-world urban site reflecting responsible use of land.
