Tomoyuki Ashida joined Nikken Sekkei in 1989 after completing his master’s degree at Osaka University. Specializes in architectural design. Since joining the firm, he has been in charge of projects of various sizes, ranging from several dozen square meters to several hundred thousand square meters, designed for a diversity of purposes, including large-scale mixed-use facilities, rental offices, company headquarters, and hotels. He still manages projects of various scales from large to small. The awards he has received include
the JIA Architects of the Year, AIJ Selected Architectural Designs, and the Good Design Award. He is a first-class architect, a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ), and a registered architect of The Japan Institute of Architects (JIA).
