Qin has over 22 years’ experience designing major developments across the globe in Asia, Europe and the UAE. His expertise ranges from city centre mixed-use schemes and museums to retail, office and commercial-led developments. Specialising in urban regeneration and commercial environment, Qin has a strong understanding of how to integrate new designs into the established fabric of the city. He is passionate about preserving history and renovation, and was previously seconded to UK Trade and Investment as the infrastructure specialist.

Qin’s extensive portfolio includes the iAPM seven-storey retail podium in Shanghai with seamless connections to the major MTR interchange station; a 250,000m2 riverside development in Shanghai creating an iconic destination with commercial outputs; and Joy City in Hangzhou, an innovative large-scale complex with a 130,000m2 shopping centre, waterfront retail streets and four towers. He also worked on the 75km2 Yas Island Concept Masterplan for Ferrari World’s leisure oasis.
