Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development in Greater China

Mr. Hung-Chih Liu is a Senior Vice President and the Leader of Strategy & Development for Greater China at AECOM. He has extensive international experience in directing multi-disciplinary projects, providing clients with integrated solutions in the form of Design, Build, Finance and Operation.

Mr. Liu is known for his innovative and practical approach when addressing urban development issues in cities.  Over the past 25 years, he has taken major roles in urban development projects in China, North America, the Middle East and various cultural territories that allows him to develop insight into the critical issues under various urban context that are faced by different cities. He’s particularly interested in developing integrated planning and design solutions tackling urban mobility, urban resiliency, smart infrastructure, public spaces, architectural urbanism as well as economic and ecological system.

Being in charge of the Strategy and Development for Greater China at AECOM, Mr. Liu is continuing his combined strength in exploring new collaborative business models, disruptive innovations, developing branding strategies and thought leadership.

Mr. Liu graduated from Harvard University with a Master degree of Architecture in Urban Design. He has been appointed as board advisor for Shanghai 2040 Vision Plan, and the member of international advisory board for the National Urban Design Innovation Center in Beijing.
