Jonathan joined Colliers International in 2015 and founded the business line Flexible Workspace Services, which covers the Asia Pacific Region in 2017.
Flexible Workspace Services focuses on advising occupiers on how to leverage flexible workspace as part of their real estate strategy, together with assisting operators expand across Asia Pacific, in particular when entering new markets, and advisory to landlord’s and funds on how to bring flexible workspace in to their portfolios.
Jonathan has extensive experience in Tenant Representation, and Landlord Representation having advised on transactions across EMEA and APAC, and is renowned for putting together non-traditional leasing structures to solve specific occupier challenges.
Standout accomplishments include helping WeWork to enter the Hong Kong (60,000 sq. ft.), Singapore (60,000 sq. ft.) and Japan (90,000 sq. ft.) markets. In addition to this Jonathan completed transactions for naked Hub’s first two Hong Kong hubs, totaling 70,000 sq. ft. and helped double Garage Society’s footprint in Hong Kong.
Jonathan has led Colliers to a market leader position in the sector for occupiers, operators, landlords and investors across Asia Pacific. In addition to transactions, Jonathan is a published author on flexible workspace and has spoken on a number of professional panels on the subject.
Prior to joining Colliers International in Hong Kong, Jonathan worked for Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ) as Head of Agency for seven years in the Middle East covering both Landlord and Tenant Representation. In addition, Jonathan led Global Corporate Services for the region the Middle East Region.
Jonathan plays an active part in the Hong Kong rugby scene. Previously in the Middle East Jonathan coached Doha Rugby Football Club’s Development Squad and hosted coaching sessions with the club’s minis and youth section.
