Mme. Hong Bo is currently Executive Vice President (CEO of One Belt One Road Project) of Charoen Pokphand Group. From 2009 to 2016, she served as Assistant President of CITIC Limited, and Chairwoman of CITIC Construction Co Ltd.

CITIC Limited, with registered capital of US$20.6bn, is a large multinational conglomerate participating in a broad range of financial and non-financial businesses. These include commercial banking, investment banking, trust, insurance, fund and asset management on the one hand, and real estate, engineering contracting, energy and natural resources, infrastructure, machinery manufacturing, and information technology on the other. CITIC has been a member of the Fortune Global 500 for five consecutive years, ranking 172nd in 2017.

CITIC Construction, ranked 56th among the ENR Top 250 International Contractors in 2017, has executed a number of super large projects in Africa, Latin America, China and other regions, including the US$6.75bn Algeria East-West Expressway, a US$4bn social housing project in Angola, the “Bird’s Nest” Olympic Stadium in Beijing, the Tianjin Haihe Bridge, and the Chongqing Riverside Expressway.
